M N Mollon & Partners Ltd is an independent, ambulatory equine veterinary practice based in Alton, Hampshire. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality veterinary care while maintaining a friendly, supportive, and professional working environment.


We are currently seeking a First Opinion Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join our growing team.


The Role

This is a varied and rewarding ambulatory role with opportunities to develop your clinical and sports medicine skills.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Ambulatory first opinion equine work

  • Sports medicine and performance-related cases

  • Client-facing work using a company vehicle

  • Monday to Friday working pattern

  • Participation in a 1-in-3 weekend out-of-hours rota

Full training and support are available, making this role suitable for both experienced vets and those looking to further develop their skills.


What We Offer

  • Salary starting from £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)

  • 20 days annual leave plus 8 UK bank holidays

Facilities & Equipment

You’ll be supported by a well-equipped ambulatory setup, including:

  • Portable digital X-ray and ultrasound machines

  • Modern, fully equipped ambulatory vehicles


About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • MRCVS (or eligible for RCVS registration)

  • Confident in spoken and written English

  • Eligible to work in the UK (visa sponsorship available)

  • Motivated, professional, and client-focused

  • A team player with a positive approach to ambulatory practice
