Director
Maria Natalia Mollon
MRCVS
Natalia is the director of the practice, who graduated from Buenos Aires university in 1997. Whilst in Argentina, she worked in some of the most prestigious polo and racing yards before moving to Spain to work at Sport Vets Clinic. In 2011 Natalia moved to the UK to start M N Mollon & Partners Ltd. She has extensive knowledge of internal medicine, lameness and performance issues. Natalia is also qualified as an OV vet which enables her to complete the necessary papers to export horses to other countries, and is also an official measurer for the Joint Measurement Board.

Senior Partner & Registered FEI Veteranarian
Roman Villar Martinez de Velasco MRCVS
Roman is a senior partner of the veterinary practice, who graduated from the University of Madrid in 1997. He worked in Madrid, Argentina and USA prior to moving to the UK where he joined Natalia at M N Mollon & Partners Ltd. Due to his extensive knowledge and professionalism, Roman was selected as the veterinary surgeon for the Spanish Equestrian Team at the 2012 London Olympic games. He is highly experienced in lameness and performance issues in competition horses in all disciplines as well as pre purchase examinations.

Antonio Espinosa Fernandez MRCVS
Antonio graduated from the University of Madrid in March 2018 and has experience with polo horses whilst working in Florida and racehorses whilst working in France. Since joining the practice in February 2020, he has worked closely with our clients, taking an individual approach to suit each horse’s needs and discipline. Antonio is currently studying towards a certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice in equine lameness, diagnosis and therapeutics. He is experienced in pre-purchase examinations, diagnostic imagery and equine sports medicine.

Practice Manager
Carmela Mitchell BSc (Hons), CertNCS (VCC), RVCCA - Registered Veterinary Client Care Advisor
Carmela has been the practice manager since April 2018, bringing a versatile skill set and strong leadership to the running of the practice. She has extensive experience in managing insurance claims and financial accounts, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Carmela earned her Equine Science degree in 2011 and holds British Horse Society Levels 1 and 2 qualifications, along with a Level 3 Diploma as a Veterinary Support Assistant. She is a Registered Veterinary Client Care Advisor, having completed an internationally accredited certification through RACE, and is also an accredited veterinary receptionist.
Outside of work, Carmela enjoys spending time with her horse, Inscha, and her Hungarian Vizsla, Hugo. She loves taking long rides in the countryside with Hugo happily trotting alongside.

Office Supervisor
Ella Riley CertNCS(VCC), RVCCA - Registered Veterinary Client Care Advisor
Ella joined the practice in August 2021 after completing her Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration. She has ridden from a young age and has a long-standing interest in the equine industry. Ella plays a vital role in the front-of-house team, supporting clients with a wide range of enquiries while also contributing to the efficient daily operation of the practice. Her responsibilities include managing invoicing and insurance claims, as well as providing essential administrative support to ensure the practice runs seamlessly. She has completed a certification in Veterinary Client Care, accredited internationally through RACE, and is a Registered Veterinary Client Care Advisor. Ella is also an Accredited Veterinary Receptionist. In her spare time, Ella can usually be found chasing after her rescue dog, Mia or wrangling her ex-polo pony, Coco, because who needs peace and quiet when you’ve got a full-time job at home too?

Veterinary Receptionist
Pagan Bunce CertNCS(VCC), RVCCA - Registered Veterinary Client Care Advisor
Pagan joined the practice part-time in May 2023 before moving to a full-time veterinary receptionist role in November 2023. With a strong passion for horses, she enjoys supporting clients and providing friendly, knowledgeable assistance.
She holds a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Equine Studies and is a Registered Veterinary Client Care Advisor, accredited internationally through RACE, as well as an Accredited Veterinary Receptionist.
In addition to her reception duties, Pagan takes a lead role in managing equine exports, coordinating blood sampling and ensuring all export health certificates are completed accurately and on time, helping to ensure a smooth travel process for horses and their owners.

Veterinary Receptionist
Emma Winhall
Emma is one of our friendly receptionists and is often your first point of contact at the practice. She plays a key role in the day-to-day running of the clinic, including booking appointments, managing enquiries, and handling invoicing and billing. Emma holds a Level 2 AAT qualification in accounting, bringing valuable financial and organisational skills to the team.
She previously worked in the office of a large equine hospital for nine years, gaining extensive experience in client care and practice administration. Alongside this, Emma has also spent the past five years working as a freelance groom, reflecting her strong hands-on experience with horses.
At home, Emma has a pony called Addi, three dogs - Buddy, Bear, and Poppy - as well as fish and a hamster named Tango.
When she’s not busy keeping up with her children, Emma enjoys walking her dogs, swimming, paddle boarding, and horse riding whenever she gets the chance.
