With Christmas fast approaching, we wanted to share our festive opening hours and a few important reminders to help make sure your horses stay happy and healthy over the holiday period.

📅 Christmas Opening Hours

Monday 22nd December: Open as normal 8am-5pm

Tuesday 23rd December: Open as normal 8am-5pm

Christmas Eve (24th): Open as normal 8am-5pm

Christmas Day (25th): Emergency cover only

Boxing Day (26th): Emergency cover only

Saturday 27th December: Emergency cover only

Sunday 28th December: Emergency cover only

Monday 29th December: Open as normal 8am-5pm

Tuesday 30th December: Open as normal 8am-5pm

New Year’s Eve (31st): Open as normal 8am-5pm

New Year’s Day (1st): Emergency cover only

2nd January onwards: Back to normal hours

As always, our emergency vet is available 24/7 throughout the whole festive period.

💊 Ordering Medication Over Christmas

The run-up to Christmas can be a busy time for everyone, including suppliers and couriers. To avoid delays or running out of essential medications, please allow extra time for us to prepare, approve, and post your prescriptions.

For guaranteed delivery of medication before Christmas

Please order all routine medications by:

🎅 4pm Tuesday 23rd December.

Please be aware that any medication posted after this date will not be attempted for delivery until Saturday 27th December.

For chilled medications, anything requested after 23rd December will be sent on Monday 29th December, as this ensures the parcel remains at the correct temperature and arrives safely.

M N Mollon & Partners does not accept any liability for delays with the postal service over the festive period.

Please note, usual terms for posting medications apply. Medications must be approved by a vet, and must be paid for in full prior to posting.

🧾 Written Prescription Requests

For prescription-only medications, please remember:

The vet must have seen your horse recently.
If you need a written prescription to order online, please request it as early as possible. All prescriptions need to be approved and signed by a vet.

🚨 Emergencies

If you have an emergency at any point over the Christmas period, please don’t hesitate to call. We will always have a vet available, even on Christmas Day.
